A little evening in a Missouri winter wonderland. I had to buy snow boots for this, but after seeing the results of this engagement sessions, I'd say it was obviously a success.
02
I've never said no to a chance to go home for a long weekend, and celebrating a childhood friend marry the love his life was more than enough to make me book a plane ticket.
03
Elephants, zebras, lions — oh my! In October 2025, I travelled to Kenya for the IFAJ World Congress. Three different national parks provided me with a set of photos that will never not be special. Until next time, I'll keep drooling over these.
04
There's been something a little extra special about watching this family grow over the years. Two cute blonde babies? Yes please.

05
It's been a few years since I watched these two first start to fall in love at Oklahoma State University, but you could tell by the sunset God painted us that these two are still meant to be. One of my favorite engagement shoots — EVER!
06
As the managing editor of the Angus Journal, I've had the pleasuring of traveling to farms and ranches across the country. There's been too many amazing images to count, but these are a handful of my favorites.
07
If you ignore the fact that we were all dripping sweat, then this could be labeled a pretty perfect night. These two are the first of my friends to expand their family, and there's nothing more special to me than being a part of that story.
08
Bobby and I became buddies back when we just babies in 4-H. He's grown into such an amazing human, and he really showcased his modeling skills with the orange Oklahoma State University fountain as a beautiful backdrop.

dillon + rayne
Dillon was not golfing, and Rayne wasn't serving as model for a jewelry photoshoot, but I think the afternoon ended up being better than she could have ever imagined.
10
Julie's had many titles in my life. From boss and mentor to friend, I'm always so grateful when she and her family let me be a part of their story. Family photos to maternity session, this growing gang always makes me smile.
11
Golden hour sunsets, cowboy hats, an open field and black cattle? Seriously, this engagement shoot was my kind of heaven.
12
Kiddos, pups, fall weather — oh my! My job has put me into contact with so many amazing people, and Jaime has become my "St. Joe mom." Any chance to spend time with her actual family is one I can't pass up.
13
Truly nothing better than a morning on the Oklahoma State University campus with the perfect little model who knows how to pose.

It was this evening in Kansas that I fell in love with making my clients dance for a minutes in front of a sunset. There's also nothing better than watching one of your girls be in love.
I am currently living in Saint Joseph, Missouri, where I am working as the assistant editor of the Angus Journal. I love to travel, however, so don't be afraid to give me a reason for a road trip! Let me know how I can be a part of your next big moment.
